Country legend Kenny Chesney is responsible for one of country music’s biggest football anthems. So, it only made sense that as he performed the track prior to the biggest college football game in history, he was joined on-stage by an NFL legend.

Performing in Bristol, Tennessee at the Bristol Motor Speedway, Kenny Chesney was joined on-stage by NFL legend Peyton Manning. During his performance of “Boys of Fall,” the country legend invited Manning to the stage where the two friends signed a guitar together and gave it away to one lucky young fan who was sporting a University of Tennessee football jersey. Of course, the University of Tennessee is Manning’s alma mater.

Chesney’s performance at the race track came one night prior to the historic game between the University of Tennessee and Virgina Tech. The game saw the largest crowd in college football history with over 156,000 fans in attendance.
