Please don’t kill your smartphone!!!!!!!

Let me be vocal and say that I am not happy about Apple killing the headphone jack on the new iPhone 7. Especially since I do not have Bluetooth in my car and I need the pin connector to recharge the phone and the headphone jack to plug into the auxiliary jack on my car stereo.

Last weekend, Andie Summers of the XTU Morning Crew posted a video on my Facebook timeline about a solution to the problem courtesy of TechRax  (along with a disclaimer that said “don’t do it”). The video states that all you have to do is drill a hole on the bottom of the iPhone and “boom” instant headphone jack!

I thought this was LOL funny and you could tell this was a parody video. Unfortunately, not everybody got the joke and some decided to do just that and “boom” those iPhones were ready for the garbage.

Please by all means do not drill a hole in your iPhone or any smartphone! You will not get your money back. All your left with is a $1000 black colored plastic and metal brick.

To see what I am talking about, check out the video below.
