Keith Urban honored country legend Kenny Chesney with a cover of “I Go Back.”

During Tuesday night’s (November 1) BMI Country Awards, country superstar Keith Urban took to the stage to honor Kenny Chesney. Urban performed a cover of Chesney’s 2004 hit “I Go Back,” putting his own touch on the track.

Urban wasn’t the only one who covered Chesney’s songs during the award celebration. Eric Church performed Chesney’s “Anything But Mine,” while Dean Dillon performed one of Chesney’s earliest hits “The Tin Man.”

Chesney was honored at the BMI Country Awards with the BMI’s President Award, along with the Country Songwriter and Song and Publisher of the Year Award.
