The nominees for the 2017 Grammy Awards have been announced and this year Beyoncé leads the way with nine total nominations. Queen Bey is not the only highly-nominated artist however as Drake, Rihanna and Kanye West are all nominated for eight awards, while Chance The Rapper has been nominated for seven.

At the 59th annual Grammy Awards, Beyoncé will be up for most of the night’s biggest awards including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

In the Album of the Year category, Beyoncé’s Lemonade will go head-to-head against Adele’s 25, Justin Bieber’s Purpose, Drake’s Views and Sturgill Simpson’s A Sailor’s Guide To Earth.

When it comes to Record of the Year, Beyoncé’s “Formation” has been nominated, alongside Adele’s “Hello,” Lukas Graham’s “7 Years,” Rihanna and Drake’s “Work” and Twenty One Pilots “Stressed Out.”

“Formation,” “Hello,” and “7 Years” will all also be up for Song of the Year, where there have been nominated with “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” by Mike Posner and “Love Yourself” by Justin Bieber.

The nominees for this year’s Grammy Awards were announced Tuesday (December 6) morning by Meghan Trainor, who won last year’s award for Best New Artist. The field of nominees who will be looking to take the throne from the “No” singer is highly competitive as The Chainsmokers, Chance The Rapper, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris and Anderson .Paak have all been nominated.

The 59th annual Grammy Awards, hosted by James Corden will air on CBS3 Sunday, February 12.
