Since 2001, the “Ocean’s” trilogy cast has been dominated by males. Lead, supporting and small roles were all filled mainly by men. But aside from that, the plot hooks us every time and takes us through a wild journey with some genius criminals working to pull off a huge heist. All this however, is a big remake of the original “Ocean’s” from 1960.

As many who have seen the trilogy know, the challenge grows with each movie and so does the cast. But what’s different this time around for the series, coming a decade after the last “Ocean’s” movie? Two words: girl power!

Ocean’s 8 features an all-female cast with standout music artist Rihanna as one of the cast members. Rihanna, already a huge music artist, is surely trying to make her way to the big screen. Having already landed a reoccurring acting gig on Bates Motel, she has already become a familiar face on the small screen.

Sandra Bullock will play the lead role of Debbie Ocean and will gather her crew together to pull off an incredibly impossible heist. Not much is known of the exact plot, but obviously it’s going to be one for the books. Ocean’s 8 is set to release in 2018. The only thing left to ask, will there be a 9 and 10 too?

First looQ at #Oceans8 …. Coming summer 2018. 🕷🎱
