Adding new music to the collection is always fun, but have you ever wished that you could take home some tunes for your furry friend too? Now you can with Songs To Make Dogs Happy!

Dana Walden and Skip Haynes of the Laurel Canyon Animal Company in Los Angeles, a record company devoted to creating music exclusively for dogs, enlisted the help of canine focus groups to help them choose the perfect music to pep up your pooch. Using an animal communicator, the dogs were asked for their musical preferences. Those responses were used as guides for writing lyrics and music for the album.

The music was tested on groups of dogs and dog lovers, and is said to help ease separation anxiety, settle dogs when they’re traveling, and calms shelter animals. It is also used by veterinarians to help dogs in recovery.

If you’re looking for music to keep Fido frisky, you can find the album at
