Darius Rucker is many things – an artist, a sports fan and most importantly a good person.

The “If I Told You” singer recently paid a visit to a New York hospital, where he cheered patients up with some of his classic tunes.

Rucker’s visit was all a part of the Musicians On Call initiative which since 1999 has brought live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities.

Other artists involved with the initiative include Ed Sheeran, Eric Paslay, Kelsea Ballerini, Nick Jonas, RaeLynn and many, many more.

Rucker will help 92.5 XTU  kickoff Military May on Friday, April 28 with a special show at The Fillmore Philadelphia. A portion of the concert’s proceeds will go towards supporting our local USO.
