Darius Rucker has been around the world playing music, but why wouldn’t he – playing music has always been something he has loved?

The “If I Told You” artist joined 92.5 XTU’s Razz on the Radio on Radio Row of the ACM Awards to talk about his love of music. “They don’t pay me to play music” Rucker said. “They pay me to travel and to leave my kids.”

Rucker said since an early age he has always loved to play music and that is why he has always done it.

While he has never won an ACM Award, Rucker will still be in attendance at the 52nd edition of the awards show in Las Vegas. Sunday (April 2) night, he will serve as a presenter during the show.

Rucker will come to Philadelphia on April 28 to help XTU kickoff Military May. It will be an intimate evening with the artist at The Fillmore Philadelphia, with a portion of the concert’s proceeds will go towards supporting our local USO.
