Country music is full of great tandems, but Granger Smith and Chris Lane like to think of themselves as the “hottest new duo in the game.”
The two country artist joined 92.5 XTU’s Razz on the Radio at the 52nd ACM Awards in Las Vegas where they joked about being the hottest duo in the game. With country superstars Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley hosting the ACM Awards for the second consecutive year, Smith and Lane look at that as what they like to call “bro goals.”
Lane joked that he likes to think in two years it will be him and Smith up there on stage hosting the show.
The two country artists may not have been nominated for any awards this year, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t had fun out in Vegas this weekend. Friday night (March 31), Lane and Smith attended one of pop icon Britney Spears’ Vegas residency shows where Lane quickly found himself up on stage, crawling around and getting whipped by the pop star.
“The 16-year-old inner me was freaking out” Lane, who called the whole thing the “greatest experience” of his life, said.
Lane will come to the Philadelphia area this June as part of Florida Georgia Line’s Smooth Tour. Smith will be here in June as well when he takes to the stage at the 33rd annual 92.5 XTU Anniversary Show.
