Lady Antebellum Needed To Get Away From Nashville For New Album

By: Greg Sacidor

Lady Antebellum’s next album Heart Break will release in June and they told Razz on the Radio that in order to make it happen they needed to get away from Nashville.

While Nashville may be the country music capital of the world, Lady Antebellum needed to get away from the city in order to create their first album as a group since 2014. After a year hiatus, all three members of Lady A decided to pack their things and head to Los Angeles where they could live together and work all hours of the night.

Charles Kelley told Razz that in Nashville there are too many “distractions.” Whether it be friends, family or for him golf, there are just too many things that can hinder the creative process.

Out in Los Angeles, Lady Antebellum was able to put together their latest album Heart Break, which features the far from the norm single “You Look Good.”

Lady Antebellum said they have always tried to take “little left turns” throughout their career. They added their new album is a fun story that they can’t wait to share.

Heart Break will be released on June 9, just a few weeks before they come to the Philadelphia area and on Sunday (April 2), they are scheduled to perform at the 52nd ACM Awards. They have also been nominated at the awards show for Vocal Group of the Year.
