Another awards show, another collaboration for Florida Georgia Line.
At June’s CMT Awards, country duo Florida Georgia Line will perform with another musical duo – DJ group The Chainsmokers. The four will come together to perform their song “Last Day Alive,” which appears on The Chainsmokers’ debut album Memories…..Do Not Open.
Performing with other artists has start to become the norm for Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. At April’s ACM Awards, they partnered with the Backstreet Boys to perform “God, Your Mama and Me” and the boy band’s 90’s hit “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).”
Florida Georgia Line and The Chainsmokers will not be the only collaborative performance that is scheduled for the show. Lady Antebellum is set to perform alongside Earth, Wind and Fire, and Carrie Underwood will perform with Keith Urban.
The 2017 CMT Music Awards will air Wednesday, June 7.
