In what was a rather heartbreaking night, country music superstars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw sent the NHL’s Nashville Predators out in style.
Prior to game six of the Stanley Cup Finals Sunday (June 11), Faith Hill became the latest country star to perform the National Anthem for the Nashville Predators. Following her performance, Hill’s husband (and the voice of every Predators home goal) Tim McGraw joined her on the ice to help the crowd get ready for arguably the biggest game in the franchise’s history.

McGraw took to social media after his wife’s performance to share how proud he was of her.

The Nashville Predators fell to the Pittsburgh Penguins 1-0 in game six, giving the Penguins their second Stanley Cup victory in as many years.
