Forbes has released their annual list of the 100 highest paid celebrities of the year and while not a single country artist cracked the top 10, the genre was still well represented throughout.
In total, seven country artists found their way onto the list of the 100 highest paid celebrities of the year. The highest paid country artist was Garth Brooks (26th), who brought in a total of $60 million over the past 12 months.
Following Brooks on the list was Kenny Chesney (53rd – $42.5 million), Luke Bryan (55th – $42 million), Dolly Parton (T. 71st – $37 million), Florida Georgia Line (T. 83rd – $34.5 million), Toby Keith (T. 83rd – $34.5 million) and Jason Aldean (98 – $32.5 million).
Rap mogul Diddy topped this year’s list after he made a reported $130 million. The top-5 was rounded out by Beyoncé ($105 million), author J.K. Rowling ($95 million), Drake ($94 million) and soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo ($93 million).
