In an interview with One Country, the “Lights Come On” artist shared he hopes his son, who is due around the holidays, turns out to be a baseball player.

“Hopefully he’s a baseball player and I can put a batting cage in the backyard,” Aldean said. “Maybe he’s a lefty. That’d be great. Put a pitcher’s mound out in the yard. Go and buy me some catcher’s gear.”

Aldean’s son will be his first – he has two daughters (ages 14 and 9). He will also be Aldean’s first child with wife Brittany.
