WATCH: Troy Gentry’s Final Show At The Grand Ole Opry

The country music world is still reeling from the sudden loss of Troy Gentry on Friday, September 8th. Gentry died in a helicopter crash in Medford, NJ.

As one-half of the duo Montgomery Gentry with Eddie Montgomery, Troy enjoyed a successful career that began in the 90’s.Gentry was on his way to a show with Montgomery when the crash happened.

The pair last performed at the Grand Ole Opry on July 1st; the famed venue is also where Gentry’s public memorial will be held tomorrow, September 14th.

They performed one of their biggest hits, Where I Come From, onstage at the Opry and the crowd showed them a warm reception from beginning to end.
