While Halloween might not be until Tuesday, is it any surprise today’s biggest country stars were out in costume celebrating this past weekend?  From Gumby to Dolly, Pope Francis to Batman, country music stars made sure to represent their favorite characters amidst the tricks and treats of a pre-Halloween Saturday.

RaeLynn might have been the cutest bunny at Salvage Station, but her band ran the gamut of screams and thrills in an array of getups.  Who knew Gumby could shred on the guitar?

Clearly we all went to the costume store at different times. 🎃👻

Maren Morris traveled back in time with her entourage, sporting Pink Ladies jackets from “Grease” in all of their nineteen-fifties splendor.  Grease is the word, and Maren is sure to snag a T-Bird with that costume.

Some people are so touchy.

Of course, let’s not forget those stars who aspire to resemble country legends, such as Ellie Goulding dressing as Dolly Parton.  Now, I’m sure we can all agree it’s impossible to match Dolly’s in-the-flesh perfection, but Ellie still nails the look.

I love you Dolly! ❤️❤️❤️ @amfar @nakedheartfoundation

Meanwhile, Kacey Musgraves took to Instagram with a throwback to her costume of everyone’s favorite bookish Princess, Belle, in her iconic yellow gown.  I wonder what she’ll be this year???

And perhaps the best couple to grace the internet this weekend, here’s Brad Paisley with the Eagles’ Joe Walsh, proving that Halloween is the best excuse ever for unlikely pairings.  Here we have Pope Frances socializing with Batman, and THAT, my friends, is a partnership I’d like to see last beyond Halloween.

"Holy shit Batman!!" Pope Joe and Batman @BradPaisley HAPPY HALLOWEEN

It’s great to see our favorite country artists enjoying themselves during the spookiest time of the year.  I wonder what images they’ll give us the morning after!  Are you ready for the big night???
