18th Annual Toy Truck Parade with 92.5 XTU!

By Shannon Frost Greenstein

It’s that time of year again, and for the 18th year in a row, 92.5 XTU is pleased to announce the 2017 Toy Truck Parade!!!

Saturday, December 2nd is the day, and it promises to be a raucous event that not only will be a great time for all participants, but will also ultimately benefit countless local children during the holiday season.

We want to build a mountain of toys for children in need, and YOU can help by registering your truck, decorating it within an inch of its life, and stuffing it with toys!  The toys will benefit the families of the USO and the Boys and Girls Club.

The parade starts at the Hatfield Walmart (1515 Bethlehem Pike, Hatfield, PA  19440) with registration at 8:00 a.m.  The parade begins at 10:00, with trucks making the journey to Montgomery Mall (230 Montgomery Mall, North Wales, PA  19454).  10:30 will be the arrival of the parade and the building of the toy mountain, at which point trophies will be presented and parade attendees will be treated to a choir of carolers.

To register your truck, go to www.925xtu.com/toytruckparade and download the registration form.  Fill it out, scan it, and e-mail it to toytruckparade@gmail.com.  OR, you can bring it with you on December 2nd!

Check out the informational poster below, and head over to http://www.925xtu.com/toytruckparade for more information!  Together, we can make it a great season for children in need, and build the highest toy mountain* to date!

*Toys must be brand new and unwrapped to be accepted!
