This is the time of year when we’re meant to count our blessings, give thanks for our good fortune, and help others who may need some assistance.
That also means it’s time for the Count on Country food drive, being held Tuesday, November 28th, 2017.
If you’re in a position to donate, it would be SO greatly appreciated by both XTU and local families in need, and here are the details of the day:
The morning of the 28th, Andie Summers will be broadcasting live from Swiss Farms at 820 North Eagle Rd., Havertown, PA 19083 between 6:00 and 10:00 a.m. Later, Razz will be on air at Creamy Acres, located at 448 Lincoln Mill Rd., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., collecting food from you Jersey-ans in the afternoon.
Food should be non-perishable and unexpired, and all donations are welcome! If you’re near the area, please take the time to pass along some good vibes and wrack up some positive karma on your way to or from work. And even if you’re not…you might not have any idea how thankful local families will be for your efforts, so please find it in your heart to take the time to cruise by with some foodstuffs. It’s the season of giving, and people are counting on Country!
Use hashtag#CountOnCountry to get connected with other like-minded Samaritans, and here’s wishing you all the happiest of holidays!
