Good morning, on this most beautiful of #GivingTuesdays!
We hope you are all well-recovered from the excitement of Thanksgiving, AND Black Friday, AND Cyber Monday, because today is your chance to really make a difference.
Now, #GivingTuesday isn’t necessarily about who can make the biggest donation, or how many lives your check saves, or how much recognition you get for your generosity. It’s about reaching out to fellow human beings, making an impact in our big, scary world, and paying it forward.
This year, it’s also about #CountOnCountry!
Tune in at 12:00 for the on-air, commercial-free, #CountOnCountry broadcast hosted by Big & Rich. It’ll feature some huge names in country music, like Entertainer of the Year Garth Brooks, as well as some of the heroic first responders from the Harvest 91 Festival in Las Vegas.
The whole goal is to spread a message of resilience and hope, and, particularly, to aid the Las Vegas Victims’ Fund in reaching its 15 million dollar goal. This is an excellent way to participate in #GivingTuesday, in that you’ll not only be spreading your good fortune, you’ll be helping the country music community heal and recover. Plus, just in case you missed it…Garth Brooks!
Here at 92.5 XTU, we’re taking #CountOnCountry seriously, so much so that we’re wrapping up the Week of Giving with our #ToyTruck parade this Saturday! You won’t want to miss the mountain of toys we’re going to build for children in need!
Remember, 12:00 p.m. is when you’ll want to listen. Love is love is love, and we’ve got love for Las Vegas, country music, and the artists who put themselves out there every day to bring it to us. We hope this #GivingTuesday is a meaningful one!
