You’re probably aware that Carrie Underwood fell outside her Nashville home last November. News about her accident trickled out, with fans first learning that she had broken her wrist. Next, Carrie revealed that she actually underwent surgery to set her wrist, which must have been a bad break. Finally, Carrie wrote to her fans that she had needed forty to fifty stitches in her face, and might not look exactly as they remembered.
It must have been a rough few months for Carrie, having to deal with such a bad injury, but a new Instagram image shows that the country artist is feeling better and her wrist is “good to go.”
Carrie posted a photo of her wrist X-ray late last week, and can we just say…”Ouch!”
To set the break, doctors inserted a piece of metal into her wrist. And, it. is. humongous.
Carrie is obviously a trouper. The rehab for that surgery could not have felt good, and the recovery must have been pretty long and painful. Such good news that she is back and raring to make music, because that fall could have ended really badly.
Carrie obviously agrees. In the letter to her fans a few weeks ago, she wrote, “I honestly don’t know how things are going to end up but I do know this: I am grateful. I am grateful that it wasn’t much, much worse.”
We’re so glad you’re on the mend, Carrie! Can’t wait to get you back up on that stage!
