Craig Morgan is a recognizable name.  The fans of his music know him as a country star’s country star.  But did you know he’s also a visual artist?  Did you know he’s a true family man?  Did you know he’s currently working through the stages of grief?

All of this has become common knowledge since the start of “Morgan Family Strong”, a new reality show highlighting Craig and his family.

The show follows Craig’s career in the country music industry, but also highlights his family’s new venture, The Gallery at Morgan Farms.  The store, run by the Morgan family, contains many of Craig’s handmade goods, repurposed and recycled items for the home and decoration.

The idea of using repurposed materials was the inspiration of Jerry Morgan, Craig’s son, who sadly passed away in a boating accident in 2016 at the age of 19.  While there are many humorous, light-hearted moments on “Morgan Family Strong”, it is also very, very real, as we watch the family come to terms with their loss and mourn their son and brother.

Says Craig, “Every time I do something with a refurbished, or a reclaimed or a repurposed piece of wood, I think about Jerry. I think about, ‘I’m recycling, son, and you would be proud of this.’ I know that he would make fun of the way the bowl looked. Every time I do something, I think about that.”

The family is hoping being open with their experience will help others who are going through the same pain.

The show is an intimate look at the humanity behind a country star, and the talents, passions, and pain they harbor behind the glamorous exterior.  Craig Morgan and his family are genuine, authentic, and wholesome individuals, going through life in exactly the same way as all of us, and trying to make things better for others along the way.

“Morgan Family Strong” is Thursday nights at 9:30 p.m. ET on cable channel UP TV.  Check out the trailer below!
