It's time!  It's the 8th Annual Burger Brawl, and we're bringing CHASE RICE!

I know, that was a lot of information.  Let's process it a bit.

The Burger Brawl, as you may or may not know, is hosted by Founder Rob Wasserman, owner of Rouge in Center City, and his wife Maggie.  This event began seven years ago with the most noble of causes:  To update the archaic computer lab at their children's school.  It has since expanded into an extravaganza featuring over 50 restaurants, local celebrities, thousands of attendees, and...of course...aMAZing, all-you-can-eat food.

Proceeds now benefit the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia to finance programs that advance math and reading literacy in our elementary schools.  Meanwhile, the Brawl has also evolved:  The categories now include Best Burger, Take-Down Taco, and Cutthroat Cocktail.  Tickets are only $45, and can be purchased HERE.

So, back to that exciting bit of news above.  Chase Rice, who just released a new album entitled "Lions & Lambs" from Broken Bow Records, will be performing a full-on concert outside at Xfinity Live!

Let's review.  For $45, you get all-you-can-eat samples of burgers and tacos from some of the best local chefs and restaurateurs, you get an authentic Chase Rice concert, and you get to know that you're helping Philadelphia students get a leg up in the world with better education and tools.  It's a triumvirate of good stuff.

You can check out more information HERE, and once more...grab your tickets HERE.  And watch our Morning Show Crew below enjoying some delicious samples from The Union Tap, last year's Burger Brawl People's Choice Winner!
